The Cal-ESAR Cache is on Moffett Airfield, in the back of the compound for the 129th Vehicle Management Group.  Best access is through the Ellis Gate, parking is as shown in the map to the right.  Access to the inner area is for authorized vehicles only.

In the lower right of the aerial photo below are vehicles parked in the approved area.  Cal-ESAR assets are near the Star in the background, the Ellis Street Guard Shack can be seen on the far left near the Manila/Ellis road junction.

At the gate, you'll be asked for ID, Driver License is fine.  When asked for destination, "129th Motor Pool" will get you in.  Most of the guards do not know us or know who we are, so DO NOT say you are with Cal-ESAR, this will only confuse things and cause delays.

Watch for the sign below as you approach the entrance, the white car to the left of the RV is at the entrance stop sign.

After you enter, bear left through the gate that indicates authorized vehicles only.  Watch along both sides of the road for signs for Campsites A-F. Rules and Info sheet, plus campground layout are below.
